Arising from the foundation of our Church with Jesus Christ as the Capstone is the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith life as Catholics. “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.” (John 6:54). The Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament at the Spiritual Life Center houses a large 300 million-year-old sandstone boulder that was taken from the geographic center of the Diocese of Wichita. Built upon that boulder is the tabernacle where the Lord Jesus resides in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Nourished by the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ, we are called at the Spiritual Life Center to welcome our guests who come here in a true spirit of hospitality. We are called to see the face of Christ in our sisters and brothers and we are to welcome our guests as we would welcome Jesus Himself. This pillar of hospitality is the very purpose of the Spiritual Life Center’s existence.

Our Spiritual Life Center staff and our volunteers seek to live the words that Jesus teaches us in the 25th Chapter of Matthew’s Gospel. You come here to this place as guest. May you be fed here, given drink here, welcomed here, clothed in love here, healed here, freed here and meet others on their journey of faith. God is with us.
